W404LDK – Red Light Jumper

August 24, 2010 — 2 Comments

Again another example of a car jumping a red light. This is the more common way that is done, where by they go through it late, but this is also the one with the potential for collisions. The driver was stopped in the bike lane and took their time pulling away and getting into traffic. They also didn’t signal that they wanted to take a right turn at the traffic lights.

  1. Another “professional” driver. I spotted a couple of RLJing cars yesterday whilst driving home, both not very far away from here (Purley Way) I think the second may have be a not paying attention, not that it justifies it, but the first was clearly someone racing and not wanting to wait another light sequence.

  2. Brighton Road, eh, I know the exact place.
